I read a thread somewhere else and they said they went on a vip tour round the theme parks, they got on the rides quicker and said it was worth paying for. does anyone know where you an arrange this and if anyone knows how much it is, or what you get to do whilst there. sorry for all the questions it just sounds really good!:)

We've done the keys to the kingdom tour. It was brilliant and very informative, they took us on a couple of rides at magic kingdom and explained before we went on how they do stuff. Also went into the tunnels under magic kingdom and saw the floats being stored for parades. Was excellent and high light of our trip.

Do you mean the VIP tour at Busch Gardens? :confused3 Wayneg has posted about that one in the past.

Disney booked it for us, think you just phone them up as you would for an ADRs they do several different tours though, we wanted the all day one but it was full.

You can actually hire a VIP guide - no real "tour" as such, just a personal guide to tell you about the park, get fastpasses for you while you are on other rides, etc. There is no front of the line priviledges with this though.

The cost is $125 per hour with a 6 hour minimum. ;)

Universal Studios do VIP tours for both parks.

The Disney VIP guides will not get you to the front of the line straight away. We hired a VIP guide at Disneyland and she was wonderful but it was very expensive. She did get more fastpasses for us before we could get them with our passes, she would wait in line for rides for us whilst we went off to use the fastpasses she had gotten for us then phoned us to say when she was near the front. She also arranged special things for us which we didn't ask for (private viewing at Turtle talk with Crush and a few other things.) She also arranged VIP seating for parades, fireworks and fantasmic for us (not sure if they will allow you to have VIP seating for everything at WDW or not.) At the end of our time with her she also gave us more fastpasses to use later in the day.
Having the guide was very expensive but we did this for a special occasion. We are thinking about getting one for our next trip to WDW for our best friends but we have not decided for certain yet.

With things like the KTTK tour, you do get to ride certain things quicker - I remember we did this with Pirates and Haunted Mansion - these were parts of the tour.

We did the Elite Adventure Express Tour at Seaworld which included:
* Front-of-the-line access to Kraken, Journey to Atlantis, and Wild Arctic
* Feed dolphins, sea lions, and stingrays
* Meet and touch a Penguin behind the scenes
* Have seats reserved at select shows
* Your own personal Adventure Guide...

Just remember that on some on the Disney tours (mainly the ones that go backstage) that their is a minimum age of 16. :thumbsup2

Have to say one day I would love to hire VIP guide :)
