VIP tour?

Hi! This will be my first time at Universal Studios so I don't really know anything about this... I won a prize package from my favorite radio station that includes a VIP tour of US... will we have to use a park pass as well? The confirmation letter doesn't say anything about park admission, but the US website said "Park admission not included"; does that mean I'll have to use a day's ticket to get in for the tour? If so it would be sort of a waste because the tour ends at 3pm and the Rock the Universe event starts at 4pm... and we would basically be using a whole day pass for just an hour.

I'm assuming thet your prize includes both the VIP tour and admission to the park. The VIP tour will take you to the rides and get you on the ride even before the express pass line so you will be riding the rides on the tour. Think of it as a personal guide to all the rides and show like a VIP pass to the rides. It isn't a backstage tour. Call the radio station and find out if it includes admission. I am sure they would also inlcude admission or you couldn't even get into the park for your VIP package.
