Has anyone gone on the non-private 2 park tour recently? Is it worth the $$$? Also, I'm assuming the breakfast and lunch are no longer buffets due to COVID?

I opened a similar question, searched but this didn’t come up. Mine was VIP vs EP (either paid or with a higher level room)

I would be interested too. I just purchased the tour for our next Disney trip. We have never been to Universal. So, I thought this would be a good way to get a bunch of stuff in! I signed up for the earliest tour because you get express pass for the rest of the day. We will be tired!

February of 2020 we did the VIP tour at Universal Hollywood and thought it was a wonderful experience, so we've booked it for Florida in May. Hoping to feel the same. We only have one day there so hopefully this will be a great use of our time.

We did this several years ago in Hollywood. It was wonderful and I would definitely consider doing it in Florida.

The scenario where it really makes the most sense financially is someone coming for 1 day who is not at a deluxe resort (which includes EPs). In fact, I would not recommend going to your first trip to UO without it. We did one day at Universal Hollywood without EPs and it seemed like a waste considering how little we got to do.

We were signed up to do a non-private VIP tour in March 2020, but had to cancel because of Covid. So I can't tell you about the actual experience or how Covid changed things. I will say that the person I talked at the VIP line was extremely knowledgeable, so it might be worth a call to see what they have to say...
