if I can save up enough is any of WDW vip tours worth it for a solo trip? If did it would it just be you and a cast member or join up with other groups also doing the vip tour you think?

It depends on what you're talking about by VIP tour. If you mean the guided 7 hour tour with a "plaid", I personally wouldn't do that on my own. I enjoy solo trips though, and it's a rare chance for alone time for me. We've done a VIP tour as a family, which was fun but not my style of touring. It would be you one on one with your guide unless you asked other people to join you. But if you don't like touring by yourself, it would be a way to get a "buddy" for the day, and you'd have easy access to rides that have fast passes. For rides/shows that don't have fast pass, you'd still have to wait in the regular line.
HERE is the link to my trip report post of our VIP guide experience.

As for the other tours like Keys to the Kingdom or something, I'd definitely do one of those solo! You'd be with a larger group that had booked the experience for the same time slot.

Good luck making your decision and have fun!! Solo trips are a great time to recharge and relax, and it's easy to maximize your time b/c you aren't having to move at the pace of anyone else.

If you're doing the 7 hour VIP tour, it would be just you and the guide. He or she would arrange the park routes around the attractions you want to visit. Just as PP mentioned, there will be rides that are not included in the tour.
