VIP Tour Question - Last Minute Booking

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster

The title says it all! We are headed to Disney World July 16th - 20th, 2021 (literally next week). I know VIP tours are almost impossible to come across, even at the 60 day booking window. In the Covid era, has anyone had any success with a last minute VIP tour booking? I am probably out of my mind to think I could secure a spot, but I plan to call when they open tomorrow. Am I crazy? Ha!

You are probably crazy, but it's worth a call anyway. What's the worst that will happen, they tell you no. I had the same mentality when I tried to book a last-minute Cabana at Volcano Bay. Surprisingly they still had one available.

If it really matters to you, You can maybe keep calling back to see if they get any cancellations..

For anyone wondering, I called this morning and they are totally booked for my days in July (boo!) I figured as much, but the CM advised me to keep calling back because they do receive last minute cancellations.

I’ve been calling everyday looking for a cancellation during our August trip and today was my lucky day! Keep calling if this is something you really want to do, cancellations do happen.
