I'm wondering if there are rumors about a VIP tour for MVMCP that would include reserved seating for the parade and fireworks.

Thank you

That really wouldn't be a VIP tour but more of a holiday dessert package or something.

Hmm... I cannot help to chuckle at your statement. I'm wondering if there are rumors about ........

Me thinks it's better to wonder if there is a VIP tour for MVMCP and not RUMORS about a VIP tour for...

Anyway, I think it would be nice to have something like that. Even though they sell a limited amount of tickets for the event, you really couldn't prove that to me. We have been 3 times to this event (once in 2012 and 2 times in 2014) and the crowds were almost as bad to watch the parade as they were for a regular Electric Light Parade. We were parked at our spot 2 hours before the MVMCP Parade and still almost got shoved out of a descent view. Not just because of rude people but because it was extremely crowded too.

Hmmm............. Me thinks your reply is snarky.
Anyway, there isn't a VIP tour or a desert party posted on Disney's website for MVMCP. That is why I asked if there were rumors.
Rude people can really ruin it for others can't they.

I didn't find the reply rude. There is nothing announced or being rumored for MVMCP at the moment, it's not out of the question but we would be finding out for sure sooner rather than later.

Ok, maybe a little snarky. Not intended to be offensive. (sorry if it was.) I just found the way you said it to be humorous, that's all.

Thank you peg110.
I did reply while I was waiting for my coffee to brew. I think next time I will have the coffee first.

They really sell too many tickets for MVMCP. if you go on a Friday or Sunday night. It's wall to wall people.,

Even though I can't change it now, do you think Mvmcp on Sunday nov 15 will be crazy too? I was thinking it being early November and a Sunday (don't people have to get up for work the next day?!) it would be a good choice.

I'm correct in thinking I can't change the ticket dates, right?

The "limit" seems to be growing, in their "limited tickets". Back when these parties first couple/few years, the limit seemed to be MUCH lower. The last party we went to...it was just as busy (party sold out that day, during the day) as a pretty typical MK day, mid afternoon into evening.

That being said: No VIP tours for the hard ticket events.

They tried the "additional offering", which included fireworks viewing, for MNSSHP, last year. It was $99 per person, on top of the party ticket, and was VERY hard to get. It got mixed reviews, and there were reports of some dissatisfaction from the regular MNSSHP party guests, because of the changes the "party in a party" necessitated to the "regular" party. But nothing for MVMCP.

There are rumors that there will be a "new" thing for MNSSHP this year (last years thing was announced in August). IF that works out better this year, I can see them carrying it forward to MVMCP.

I still have to laugh at anyone looking to ask for a high priced upcharge on already ridiculous upcharge...

For a roped of section of concrete to see a parade
And fireworks that - I venture to guess - most of the buyers have already seen...if not several times.

And they don't change.

But to be fair...if there's bottles of coke and Elsa cupcakes involved...
Whole new ballgame

I'm hesitant to quote PT Barnum....largely because i'd probably be one of the first in line to buy whats being sold. And happily take my cupcake and concrete. I'd also point out that, part of the reason that upcharge works is because of the seemnly unlimited, "limited" tickets now being sold to the event. One begets the other...

But i think i'm being inched closer and closer to being in on the joke....

Immediately after the cupcakes but before the fireworks, be sure to follow the signs that read, "This Way to the Egress" for a very, very special surprise!
This reminds me of when I was in the Military in Germany. The big joke was that while Traveling the "Autobahn" (Their Highway), that you had to see this "HUGE" City called "Ausfahrt". It's easy to get too as there are signs for it every where.
