Hi everyone,
Is there VIP seating available for annual passholders at the Eat to the Beat concert series? We really loved using this perk during the Flower Power concerts.
Thanks for your replies!

Unfortunately no.

I haven't been yet this year but there wasn't any VIP seating for Passholders last year for these concerts. I did see it, as you said during the Flower & Garden Festival concerts. I don't recall anyone who's been to the F&W Festival this year reporting any special seating for the concerts and haven't seen it mentioned on any of the websites either.

This was the first year that the VIP seating was offered for the Flower Power concerts, so when the Food and Wine concert went up I kinda thought it would be the same..............after an email to Disney I found this was not the case. The only VIP seating that I saw available was for participants of the Party of the Senses and that was only for the first concert of the evening. Maybe we should email Disney and tell them that we really enjoyed that perk and it should be for all the concerts? I was a little disappointed that it did not happen for this concert series.

Thanks . I was hoping that Disney would add this to the perk list. A few months ago Disney sent me a survey about annual pass benefits. I was asked about what annual pass perks I used, and what I would like to see. VIP concert seating was at the top of my list!

We watched Kool and the Gang two weeks ago at the F&W. It was the second show at 8pm and there wasn't any problem getting seats at all. We showed up 10 minutes before the start and there were plenty of seats available. We are AP holders and didn't bother with the VIP seating for the Flower festival either because there were so many seats available.

I'm kind of mixed on VIP seating for AP's for the concerts. I feel that the die hard fans who love the groups will get there very early and wait it out. the fact they are willing to wait so long for their favorites makes me feel they should be the ones who should be able to get closer to the stage. the true fans should have a right to see someone they always dreamed of seeing without sitting father in the back behind ap's who just want to sit down for a little while. just my opinion... the early bird catches the worm so they say.
btw, I am an AP myself :)

I agree with you SOMEWHAT but I just feel that as being a passholder, we too should be given some "special"treatment, yes we get codes for resorts but so do others, the only other real perk besides the little 10%discount on things is perhaps the Mickey Monitor, they did away with the lounges and sometimes I feel that being a passholder blocks me from getting postcard codes etc, since they think we are already getting a good deal with the passes being able to go anytime. I really enjoyed the VIP seating, and it was only on one side of the theatre, we had to line up on one side and the others on the other side, so they would have had opportunity to get front row seats on that side.......I just don't like to see things given and taken I guess.........but that is only my opinion.
