I originally sent an email to guest reservatins but they said to call , I just rang the reservation number to ask a few question ( kettle in room and room request) I also cheekily asked about the VIP BFAST passes ( to have BFAST at any time ) they said its only for suites ) any one lucky to get one staying in a standard room Id rather the flexibility to go when we want not at a set time ? Should I try to ring again They also said I couldn't book a time now (travelling in may ) had to be when I checked it but we have organised via Eurostar for our bags to be taken to hotel and we were hoping to go going straight to park ?
Any suggestions

in my experience with DLP, if you ask outright for something that is a "surprise treat" from the hotel, you won't get. If you hint, its more likely you'll get some pixie dust ;).

The breakfast pass information you got from the hotel is possibly the official line. And they were definitely right when they told you you can't make your breakfast timeslot reservations for the hotel breakfast before you check in.

Which hotel are you staying at, and which dates? If its a quiet time at DLP, it may not matter which timeslot you pick for breakfast when you get there. In quiet times you can usually go when you like and not have to deal with enormous queues (but on the other hand you might have to queue, it all depends). Generally speaking, avoid going down to breakfast between 7.45am and 9am, if you go before or after this time, its usually not too bad. Just because you get a timeslot for breakfast in your hotel doesn't mean you have to stick rigidly to it.

eta - I notice you rang the reservations number - unless that was the Guest Services number in France, I'd take any information you get from reservations regarding hotel facilities etc with a pinch of salt. For specific room requests etc you're better waiting until about a week before you check in, and calling the hotel direct.

Thanks for that We are going 15 may to 19 staying at hotel New York That's great advice I might just ring the week before

Don't think you have breakfast slots at the HNY, just turn up when you want

You do have time slots at HNY, they let you choose time slot for each day at the check in. You get a card for every day of your stay and present it when you gi for breakfast.

Sorry my mistake it has changed from when I last stayed there

I emailed guest relations requesting a ground floor room for our trip and also got a reply saying to call them. Never been told that before.

Sent from my DISBoards app

I asked. for VIP breakfast passes when I checked in at the Santa Fe on Thursday and was told non were available. But I was given 7.30 am slots and told it would be OK if I turned up earlier or later.

Only had enough cards till Monday so need to go back to reception on Sunday to pick more for the rest of our trip

We went to HNY last March and you do choose a slot but they didn't have the time we wanted so they gave us a later time but told us to turn up at the earlier time and it would be fine, they said you have paid for breakfast so can't be turned away, I don't know if this was because it was a quiet time of year.

thats true of all times of year and all onsite hotels - you won't be turned away n no matter what time you turn up for breakfast, but if its a busy time you may have to wait in a queue to get into the restaurant.

Thanks for that information I just wanted a bit if flexibility incase we wanted to get up early of sleep in I'm guessing the 7 to 8 time before the early park entry will be the busiest
On a side note Does anyone know are there water fountain in the park Would you drink from them ? I may need to start a new thread
