Are these worth the extra cash?

Does the Admirals Floor at the Newport Club count?

I've heard so many horror stories about line-ups that I thought this might be worth the extra cash.

Don't know if the Admiral Floor gets them, so sorry can't help with that question.

We had them with the Empire State Floor at Hotel New York. We loved having them, found them very handy. We did not pay anything for them, they were included with the Empire State Club (but you pay more for that floor than regular rooms so I guess technically you do pay for them in the increased room price). You can not use the VIP fastpass on every ride, only the rides that have Fastpass so you do still have to queue for some rides. But we were glad we had them when we were there in December, but even with them, we got more rides on some rides (like buzz) during extra magic hours than we did with the vip fastpass during regular park hours.

So I guess for us the extra price for the empire state club was worth the price, but not just for the vip fastpasses, we loved the lounge also, so would definately stay on that floor again if we go back to that hotel.

No, the Admirals floor don't get them - just Empire State at HNY and Casatle CLub at DLH and then the suites in the 4 top hotels get them too.

They are only available for suites including junior suites and castle club rooms.

Last year I believe they were also available for the DLH Family rooms but as of my conversation with Paris on Friday, they are no longer, as family rooms are now classed as regular package rooms.

OK. Thanks everyone. That's kind of what I thought. We're also going on an Adventures by Disney Tour (Flavours of France) and they may be able to get me a good deal that includes VIP Fastpasses

What time of year will you be travelling?

Certainly mid summer and christmas time the VIP FPs will be a great help!!

We're going late May/early June -- pulling the kids out of school!

I doubt you would need VIP passes as the parks shouldn't be over busy as many school holidays don't start until mid-late June

Week beginning 25th May will be busy though, as its half term holidays, and I believe some European public holidays too?
