I was reading that you get a VIP fastpass if staying in a suite. I know what normal fastpasses are but what is VIP ones and does that make it worthwhile booking a suite. I'm going end of jan and thinking it will be quite quiet so might not need the fastpasses much anyway.
Sorry for yet another question.

The VIP Fastpass allows you to use the fastpass entrance at anytime without getting a fastpass ticket from the machines. They are yours for the duration of the stay and to use them, you just show the CM the tickets and away you go.

We had them when we stayed at the Castle Club in the DLH in Feb and they were a god-send. You can get off a ride, then rejoin the fastpass queue without using the machines.

Once you've had the VIP fastpass, you won't want to do the standard fastpass again.

Hi

VIP fastpasses aren't only for suites. You also get them for Castle club rooms at DLH and apparently for Empire State Rooms at the HNY. (Though i will be able to confirm or deny this when i get back)

I was tempted with the idea of castle club at the end of january but decided against it as my firneds went last year same dates and had 15 mins max queue for everything AND you dont get a free nights offer on suites or CC.

To be honest if you are only going for a suite because of the fastpasses, at that time of year I wouldn't bother as I don't think you'll need them much. We've just come back from the DLH, we only stayed in a standard room but did get 'normal' fastpasses each day per person. The difference with those as opposed to the ones you pick up in the parks are a) they are valid for any ride and b) you can use them for a longer period in the day - i.e. not a half hour slot. We were there 5 days (well 4 with travel) and I think we only used ours one day out of the 4! As the queues were so short most rides didn't even have the fastpass lanes open!

I haven't been in school holidays but that's the time of year you'd want to think about fastpasses imho.

But if you fancy a suite anyway then go for it. Have to say I nearly died when I saw the prices :scared1:
