This a two-part question..

1.) Is there/was such a thing as a VIP code and if so

2.) Where can/could I retrive such a code?

Thank you for your time! :teeth:

Yes there was, and it's very hard to come by an unused VIP code seeing as they cancelled all the tours. The only ways now to get the VIP badge are: get an unused code or win the best guest room award then win again.

Anyone know for sure if you get the VIP pin with the tour code? I have a bunch of them I have been saving and I would like that pin but I don't want to waste a code if it won't work.

Lisa, I don't think you get the pin with the tour card codes. I believe you get the purple VIP badge on your character with that.

The VIP code is a card, number 30 of sereies #1. If you were unable to do the tour in one of the parks, and get the card. Then the only way to get it now is the best guest room or try to trade for the code. But like others have said I have only seen a few people who have an un-used code for trade.

Woah woah woah, slow down. Let me clear my throat.

In the game guide it states:
All players who coplete a quest will recive the VIP badge so they can rule the Kingdom!
You people are saying that evn if you go on a quest and the VMK insider tour, you will still not recive the code for a VIP code.

Some are saying that they went on a quest and got the VIP badge immediatley.(Is that speled write?)

There is only one way to test this, and that is for someone to go on a quest. ;)

Any volonteers?

That's right. If you try to enter more than one code, you'll still only get
the VIP badge. Early on, there was a bug in which the codes didn't work
right, and the VIP pin was substituted, but that bug has long been fixed.

Please close this thread, It can be used as reference now. :)
(huge sigh) I only wish that I read this earlier. I had one VIP code left and mistakenly thought that since I already had the purple VIP thing, if I put in the code, I would get the pin and give it to my zeta pal. I put in the code and though it gave me the message that I received when I put in my first code, I didn't get anything else special. (big sigh, again) Oh, I wish I read this thread first. But as BriarLori told me, I should read the DIS more! :rotfl2:

well i took the quests and got a VIP code anyway even though i didnt take the tour

Of course, you could have had your pal join the dis and e-mail her the code. That's why :disrocks:

The DIS does rock! Actually, my pal is a DIS pal, I was just lame and ended up using the code because I thought that I would get the pin that I could then just give to her. She has a purple VIP (I think).

does the golden mickey ears code work? I have tried twice. I'll try on more time! :)
