Violet lemonade...buyer beware!

We just returned from our second trip and it was truly fabulous. However I feel a public service announcement may be necessary. My 2 daughters and I were super excited to try the violet lemonade at EPCOT. They come with an edible violet sitting on the top of the drink. As soon as we bought them, my kids were drinking them down. I went to have a sip and pulled out the violet and noticed 4 live, moving aphids crawling around under the petals. I’m an avid gardener and I see aphids (bugs) all the time on my flowers. They aren’t dangerous to people, but I found it to be pretty gross. I’m pretty sure my kids ingested some “extra protein”. I immediately took them back and received new drinks, sans violets. The cast member said they would wash all the flowers again. Other than that, we had a magical trip!
