I've been scanning my dad's old slides and hit the jackpot with these, which I believe are from November 1971. I was 4, and the monorail running through the Contemporary was the most exciting thing I'd ever seen. I've only gotten through about 1/3 of his photos from this trip but thought I would share a few here.

It's nice to see the old wall along the walkway at the castle.

In the early morning, the sun, shinning through the three circle design, made a series of "Mickey heads" along the Eastern ramp to the castle.
 

This is awesome! Love how the Polynesian is still partially dirt in these....
