Vinegar wash or not?

To anyone who has made their shirts for the parks, should I vinegar wash or not? I made close to 30 shirts and they look great so I am a bit scared of the vinegar wash because I have heard stories of peoples shirts becoming extremely faded or cracked after first wash. On the other hand I've heard of the shirts design getting messed up when they get wet. I'd hate for either to happen so what does everyone recommend? Thanks for any suggestions!

I'm honestly not trying to be a brat, but I started a thread about this a few days ago that already has some replies. Try looking here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1881240

I'm having the same internal struggle. I want to make about 9 shirts, but I don't want them to fade. I hear the vinegar protects them from fading. I think I'm going to buy a cheap shirt, and do a test shirt (to make sure I'm doing the whole process right) and will try the vinegar wash on it to see what happens. I want to start making shirts within a week or so, so I'll let you know how it goes. :-)
