I saw the menu? Do u order from it or is it pre plated or buffet like the wishes dessert party? I'm guessing buffet.

In one of the videos I saw them bringing out the pre-plated desserts to the tables.

so I just saw that the soiree is about an hour, so will the buses still be running when the later party gets out?

ok thanks. we usually have a rental car and have only done the bus once but since we are only doing Disney for a few days after a cruise we decided to do only the buses this time so I wasn't sure how it worked that long after close but now I feel better

I posted this is another thread, but figured I would share here too.

My family and I just finished the second seating tonight and also thought it was worth it. We met 10 villains total. There were 7 that came around to the tables and then three others that greeted us downstairs before we went to be seated. There was a card that had all their signatures on it. When we were seated the punch, water, and a plate of cheeses and crackers were on the table. Each guest got a plate of the four desserts. It was too much for any of us to eat! They were themed to the villain they represented.

We watched the parade, the mix and mingle show, the celebrate castle light show ( I'm sure that's not what it's called) and the fireworks from the viewing area. It was nice because there was so much room to move around and it was a great view.

Overall it was a great end to our evening. And I would recommend it to anyone who wants to meet some more villains than are at the party. There were a lot of characters out in the park too during the party. I hope that helps everyone. I know there were a lot of questions floating around.

I read that there are photopass photographers in the parade viewing area but can anyone who was there last night report back on if there are photographers in the castle?

I'm still un-decided on purchasing Memory Maker for this trip but if there were photo opportunities at this event, we would buy it

But I think he went into the event expecting to hate it and therefore did.

Also the fact he felt rushed makes me think the second seating is a better idea as at least they won't want to get people out of the restaurant to get another seating in.

It's preplated and brought out to you. There wouldn't be much room for a buffet at CRT

so I just saw that the soiree is about an hour, so will the buses still be running when the later party gets out?

You won't be stranded. They know people are coming out of the event so there will be CM's there to make sure you can get back to your resort.

I have the second seating I hope someone that is there tonight shows us a picture of Main Street or Castle after it is over! I am hoping we can get some shots of a nearly empty park at night? Anyone have any thoughts on this before reports come in?

This will be very doable. During the partys, the parks are in a "hard close" that means at midnight everything closes, including the stores unlike regular park hours where the stores remain open up to an hour afterward the park closes.

We have found that by 12:20am-12:30am, the park is already almost empty. We have gotten many great empty shots during the Halloween and Christmas partys this way.

I just read it and didn't get that impression at all. In fact I thought the complete opposite, I think he went in wanting to like it. I'm glad he wrote the report and the pictures were wonderful. He answered a lot of the questions I had. I did have a few more though and commented after reading his experience. I hope he answers them:

I like this report, it seems you went in with an open mind wanting to like it. I have questions though. Are you saying the characters that are initially the greeters when you first entered did not take pictures with party goers? What about the the villains inside ? When they come to each table are pictures just being taken OF them and not WITH them ? Thanks Pete, Ruthie
