Villians Magic Band

Does anyone know...was the new (purple) villians magic band really released today!? I saw that it was going to be....but still don't see it on the Shop Parks app. Not sure if it will even show up there....or how long that will take... Just wanted confirmation that it really is for sale starting today.

Also, would you assume it WOULD be for sale through the app? I sure hope so...

Yes, they are all for sale today, but not in the app yet. It usually takes a week or two for them to appear in the app.

I couldn't....
According to CMs almost all gone today but am sure more will show up. Had to go to more than one store. Villains and Hocus only found in one and they had pulled off rack and had by register, only a few there.

I was once told on the boards that the limited release/limited edition magic bands could only be purchased in store and that you couldn't get them from the app/merchandise services. Not sure if that's changed.

I have actual tickets to the party (plastic credit card type). I also have regular magic bands for our trip. Is it possible if I get my hands on these magic bands to transfer my party tickets onto them?

Yes all magic bands once linked up can be interchanged throughout trip hassle free
Once linked up they all work simotaniously

Some Limited Release are available through the app. The SW Kylo Ren is available - it probably wasn't available on September 4th but more than likely added after sales slowed.

Good to know! Hopefully they'll sell more through the app as not everyone can get to WDW before they sell out.
