Why can't I book a villa for October 2016 online? Every single DVC resort villa is listed as unavailable for my party size (3). DH and I are spoiled to renting DVC, and this year we'd like to stay somewhere different as it seems that the resort we'd like to stay in never has availability when renting points. A suite or suite style is a must as I prefer DS13 to have a completely separate area from us.

I REALLY REALLY wish the moderates had separate bedrooms in some of their rooms. A suite at POR would be lovely!

We thought about AoA but I really want something a little more adult... If DS were younger, I'd be all over the Cars suites!!

I'm pretty sure DVC doesn't release rooms to WDW until the 7 month mark.

The rooms aren't even available to DVC member for October 2016 yet.

I thought the rooms for DVC member home resorts were available a year in advance? Or is it 11 months?? I should probably do my research completely!!

You can only book DVC 7 months out unless it is your home resort and then you can book 11 months out.

Disney still owns some of the DVC resorts points and can rent the rooms at 11 months out. But in practice, availability has tended to be hard to predict.

Yep. I think they sometimes hold onto rooms for awhile in case they need to swap rooms out for maintenance or refurbishment.

You can get a 2 room suite at Coronado Springs that looks really nice. That's a moderate.
