Wondering about any experiences here. Does anyone know how far it is from the villas to the lake and pools at the Hyatt? Thanks to all.:flower3:

Hi, nobody on here rich enough to stay there!!
My friends who stay there for golf love it...but I do not know the specifics to the pools and stuff...I do get the distinct impression it is mostly golf and convention folks and not many families just doing a vacation...

Thanks for the reply. I'm curious because the rates in April when we will be going are actually cheaper than at the Hyatt Grand Cypress itself. Hopefully, someone who has stayed here can answer these questions.:flower3:

We were looking into the villas as well until we google earthed the property and found that the villas are down the road from the Hyatt itself. So we reserved two rooms in the hotel. The Hyatt sits on 1500 acres so that should give you an idea of how big the resort actually is. The villas look absolutely beautiful and there are different sizes as well. Sorry I could not help you with your decision.

We do have reservations at the Hyatt. I am just a bit concerned about the renovations that will be going on next year. The villas do look awesome and we will have a car so I keep going back and forth with a decision.:confused3

I have stayed in the Villas many times, although I am by no means rich:thumbsup2 The Villas actually has their own pool with a bar in case you dont want to trek to the main hotel. I believe, although dont quote me, that there is a shuttle that will pick you up as well. When I was a kid, there used to be a trolly that went between the two, but sadly its long gone. Otherwise, its 5 mins by car to the hotel. The villas really cant be beat as far as quality of room, etc. in my opinion. Oh another tip, if you are going to WDW, when you exit the villas, make a right, and then an immediate left. This will take you "backstage" at WDW, and eventually spits you out onto the road where FW is located. Major time saver when it comes to traffic.
