Villas Animal Kingdom Question

We are going to be making a trip in August, 1st to Vero Beach then a few days at VAKL (don't know if that is the accepted abbreviation now ). However I have a question. We are using our developer points from the purchase so are going to splurge a bit. We usually do a 1BR without dining but will probably do a studio with dining. I absolutely want a savannah view but have heard about the concierge level because then you can get the sunrise safari....can someone tell me about this? How expensive, is it worth it with a 6 and 7YO, is brunch included? Sorry for all the questions but I have read bits and pieces around. Also if you get a concierge room is it a savannah view?

AKV owners can call MS starting May 16th to book stays for Sept 1st or later using AKV points. I don't think you can use developer points to book at AKV. Based on this map: http://advc.disney.go.com/media/dvc/languagespecific/eng/resorts/animalKingdomVillas/DAKVMap.pdf only the villas on the Zebra trail will be available in September. The Concierge villas will probably not be available until next year (May 2008). Concierge will consist of a total of five 2BR lockoffs on the 6th floor. Three of them will face the Sunset savannah and two of them face the pool area. As you can see from the map, the 6th floor of AKV opens in May 2008. That map shows part of the Zebra trail opening in July 2007, so it may be possible to book AKV through CRO for dates in July and August.
