What's with all of the smileys? Trying to boost your post count?
Sorry moderator - tried PM but box is full??

quite annoying!

I can't figure it out either, not even posts that need to be bumped.

Yes, it's very annoying ... I too could have 9,000+ posts if I just added a smiley to every post I came across ...

I added her to my "ignore list" under user options. first poster I ever had to do this with. It worked :)

I think she is doing it to try and get under a certain someones skin. but it doesn't work! and she finds this annoying. I have put her under my ignore list too.

Come on guys... Remember what your mother taught you. "If you can't say something nice.... then don't say anything at all"

I have thought many times of adding certain people to my ignore list... BUT would never post that I had added someone. To me that is insulting and I would be terribly hurt if the shoe was on the other foot.

What a waste of time in my opinion-posting smileys arbitrarily. I don't get it. So how do you put her on your "ignore" ?

Robin, I'm with you on this one. Let's be nice to fellow DISers even if you might not agree with what they do.

Robin and Kitty,
I don't think anyone on this thread is being truly "mean", or trying to hurt anyone's feelings. I do think that what villainwdw is doing is showing disrespect to all of you who take the time and effort to reply to posts. I have posted several questions on the boards and I anxiously await replies. I have received some excellent information here! After taking the time to sit down and check my messages, it would frustrate and disappoint me to find that someone had just posted a smiley to my thread (along with numerous others), rather than a legitimate comment or answer. Just an opinion from a newbie for what it's worth--
Wendy:)
