Villains at MNSSHP

I want to meet Maleficent on Friday. Has anyone been able to meet the villains at MNSSHP this year? I asked a CM after the Villains show in front of the castle and they told me to check the back of the castle - umm. ok.
So I fast-walked back there (the LOOOOOOOONG way since the shortcut was closed off for the de-golding) and did not see nary a one! Any tips on finding them? And will they give autographs?

The villains appeared for a mix and mingle at the end of certain Villain Shows. You could call or check at Guest Relations in the MK. That's what we did. They come down the two ramps on the sides of the castle stage. We met Jafar, Maleficent, Captain Hook, Frollo, the Evil Queen, and The Queen of Hearts. Cruella was also there, but her line was extremely long by the time we got to her. I don't know why they would have told you to go to the back of the castle. The only characters back there were Snow White and the 7 and Tigger and Piglet.

They do not come out at the 9pm show (right before 9:30 fireworks).

They do not sign autographs-pictures only. And the reason they may have told you behind the castle is that they used to go behind the castle once during the night (they stopped that).
