Could anyone recommed a good villa site or person who lets out villas or the best areas to stay. Only stayed off site once and that was a few years ago.

www.thedibb.co.uk you can put a request in for your dates and villa owners will email you, if they are available.

www.villas2000.com - you can select the communities you want and look at the villas.

This is such a huge question as the properties available are so many, and so varied. If you have an idea of what it is you want out of your villa then you will have a good starting point. For example we always specify the following:
South or South/West facing pool
Pool area not overlooked by anyone
Games room - including pool table
PC with interent and Wi-Fi (free of course)
Free international phone calls
Single story villa normally, but if it is a double at least one of the rooms must be downstairs.
We have always rented villas from the owners on the site below

and have had no problems at all so far. Most of the owners are based in the UK and are very good at answering any questions, and responding to problems.
As for the best areas to stay at, this is another question that will get you lots of different answers as everyone has their favourites for a variety of reasons. The first few times we went we stayed on H27, this time however we stayed on Ponciana Blvd and thought it was a much better location. Closer to the parks, but also closer to Old Town - which we visit several times per trip.

also make sure you book a nice estate for it to be located on. Lsat years original villa we found to be on a community that we found rather shabby and old - to us. Luckily we had to move villas due to a pool problem and went next door to a much nicer, well kpt, more modern estate.

I've heard TerreVerde, Windsor Hills, Silver Creek are all top notch locations for villas, heres the one we're renting this year and it comes with the usual requirement we ask for:

south or west facing pool
overlooking conservation/lake
2 identical master suites with KING beds as we're going with friends
WiFi interent/all phones calls free
good entertainment system
games room
extended lanai/porch area
preferable corner plot
excellent community - new and modern.

We are renting a Townhome with pool in Windsor Hills from an English Family who own it. Windsor Hills is the nearest to Disneyworld. There prices are

We can recommend Emerald Island and Windsor Palms as good locations for rental homes. Both are gated communities and feel very secure, as well as having clubhouses and communal pool areas. Close to WDW too.
