Villa Rental Question...

Hi,

We've been looking at areas to rent a villa for a trip we're planning for next February. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of the following areas :-
Emerald Island
Formosa Gardens
Windsor Palms

If anyone knows them all, which would they say was the best for a family staying close to Disney? We'll be driving to and from the parks, so easy access i.e. avoiding traffic would be very useful..

Mandy, all three of these neighborhoods are right together. Emerald Island and Windsor Palms are resort type neighborhoods with clubhouse, community pool, townhomes and pool homes.

Formosa Gardens is a very nice gated,upscale rental community.They have a couple of smaller homes (4 bedrooms) and a lot of larger (6 and 7 bedrooms). The homes in here are gorgeous.

Emerald Island and Windsor palms are resort type places, with clubhouse etc Formosa gardens is a lovely but small in comparison. All three as mentioned are close together with Formosa being the closest to Disney by about 500 yds )
Try www.daystarvillas.com I know that there are houses from those resorts on there as I have rented them.

Just came back from EI it is beautiful. Gated resort with the private and town homes. Worth a look!

We just returned home from a two-week visit to WDW - we spent one week at Windsor Palms and one week at Emerald Island. Loved them both, and would have a hard time choosing one over the other. In my view you can't go wrong with either one!
