Villa check-in question (plus car question)

Hi all

heading off soon and have recently got address for villa. Reading the rest of the form tonight it's a self check-in center that I have a door code for. My question is then what?

Does my pack, including keys, magically appear or are there a few there and I have to sort through to get mine? I also have to give a credit card imprint so assuming there's a machine for this in pack or room. It's Columbus Vacation Villas Welcome Center off US-27 if that makes any difference. Have done a search and just keep getting offered villas! Any help appreciated just so I know what to expect.

Also just a quickie regarding my rental car will my usb cigarette lighter adapter work in US cars?

unless you have a 24 volt system in your car or you have a positive ground system and both are very unusual to find any more

so your car charger should work just fine

sorry, do you mean that you have to go to the columbus center to get your villa keys from the lock box? then onto the villa? If the center is closed and they want a card imprint you would have to go back the following day to do that.
have they got an email address then you can ask for more info

Print out says this center is not staffed at anytime - it an open 24/7 self checkin centre. Anyone have any experience?

When we used Virgin for a villa - our pack was in a key code box. In there were details of the villa, the key safe number for the villa. The next morning, someone from the management company called by to complete everything.

We has a privately owned villa lsy year. They gave us a 4 digit code for an outside lock box. The villa key was inside it. This might be something similar for you.

Is there a phone number you can call for confirmation?
