Vigin Tickets??? When do you get them???

How far before you go on holiday do the tickets arrive? we are going with Virgin?

We booked flights with VA for April and just got our e-tickets through yesterday.
If you've booked with VH you will get them a few weeks before you fly through the post!

I have been with virgin before but can't remember when the tickets arrived.

We go in 3 weeks and we have not got our tickets. I spoke with VH and they say they will be sent next week!

Hi Jockey,

You might want to phone them and tell them you are concerned about the postal strikes, and ask if they can send them earlier rather than later!! There is no harm in phoning them and discussing it.
I'm quite certain they have contingency plans for things like this, so don't worry.

I would nag Virgin to send them early if I was you. We are going Saturday and ours have finally arrived today. Talk about giving me something to worry about it!

Thanks, I did ring them 2 days ago and they said not to worry they will be sent next week! I did get a slip from Royal mail today though and have to go pick up a package at the depot, do VH send them recorded delivery, I can't remember!

We are flying on the 23rd we received our tickets on Mon. When I phoned Virgin at the weekend I was told that tickets are normally sent out 10-14 days before you fly. When I asked about the postal strikes I was told that if we hadn't received the tickets a couple of days before we were due to fly then to phone them and we could pick them up at the airport. We booked with VH and our tickets were not sent recorded delivery
