Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

totally understand and agree but i've been doing it since viggle started and never been banned, warned or otherwise...just any easy way to pick up a few extra points each day...try it at your own risk!

You are free to viggle as you please, but I personally would be extremely disappointed if I racked up 50,000 points and found out I had been banned when I tried to redeem them.

I've been playing the JetBlue game over and over the past couple of days -- though with some fear of being banned -- but so far so good. I redeemed for a Lowe's GC this morning just to check. Sometimes that JetBlue thing is all that I get...so how can you resist replaying?:confused3

I just downloaded the android app and I think I'm doing something wrong. I check in and it shows I checked in but then I never get any points at the end of the show. What gives? Does it take a few hours to show up or something? Do I have to leave it on a certain screen?

Thanks :goodvibes

Points normally show up when the show ends or when you check into the next show, but today I have had a delay with points showing up. I normally check here or on viggles facebook page to see if it is just me or everyone, there are lots of people posting about it today on facebook. And no you dont have to leave it on any certain screen. :thumbsup2

I'm getting tons of ads right now - 75, 50 & 30's. Surprised me on a Saturday afternoon.

Is anyone else ever paranoid that it is listening when you don't want it to? It kind of freaks me out that it does that. LOL How do you know it really shut off?

is anyone still viggling?

I am too. I was out of town all last week and busy with evening activities this week so I haven't been accumilating points as fast as before. Some nights I can only get logged in to one or two shows so I try to pick the highest payouts. There doesn't seem to be as many shows with points now though, hopefully it's just due to summer and will pick up going into fall.

I must be doing something wrong because I check in and Viggle accepts my check in but I never get points. I even have it near the TV for the entire show. I have done both live and dvr recorded shows.

Do you confirm your check in when it asks?

I'm still Viggling, not as hard core as before though. I'll be starting college in January 2013, so at the moment I'm taking some Algebra classes to refresh my brain! (Been out of high school for 14 years now...you tend to forget stuff!)

Plus Viggle seems to be a bit dry this summer. For the past 3 or 4 days Featured Bonus points only equal 1,000 points or less. Plus no Viggle Live Events....so I've lost some interest. And you need to be checked into shows to hit ads....so that's a little inconvenient. Viggle is just slowly pushing me away! :rotfl2:

On a good note though, I am ready to take all my Best Buy (Viggle) gift cards to buy my camera! I'll just pay for the warranty and that's it! :cheer2:

I hope Viggle will pick up in September when all the season premieres start up!

I did tweet them about the lack of points and ads lately and they responded: "we have so much planned for the future. Bonus points and featured shows will fluctuate-they will go back up soon!" So I guess this a good sign! I just hope they stay true to their word!

Anyone have any luck lately getting Best buy Cards cashed in for Visa cards? I almost have enough for a BB card and Im really hoping Ill be able to get the Visa Card!! :goodvibes

I Viggle.
Tonight great night for me.
I am a big Texas Ranger Fan and I get bonus points. Life is grand.

I got banned for no reason. The only thing I can think of is the Jet blue things - which all had different questions when it started repeating I stopped doing them. I emailed but am getting no answer- just the "Broke the rules" email. I am mad because I was all set to cash out. Plus I had like 20000 points- if I was some scammer wouldn't I be full on points? They can see what I check into too- same shows every week.

Not happy. Well it was nice while it lasted.

I am confused. I hear so many people being banned immediately but when you check the FAQs it states that first you will be suspended and you need to talk to customer service. Then after three suspensions you are banned. I would email them again and ask that you be unbanned. I am getting a little scared because I am saving my points for kindle fire and am so afraid of getting banned.

I have what is probably a stupid question (afraid to ask on slick deals because I don't want to get berated) but hoping you all can help?

I am paranoid of watching the same ad more than once because I don't want to get banned but yet I see people posting a lot about where they are getting high point ads but they are always ads I have already seen. So, the question...am I allowed to watch the ad as many times as it comes up?

This has always been a dicey topic. In the beginning it was, each ad could only be watched twice. Then later Viggle said you can watch the ads as much as you want. (They personally responded to me through e-mail when I asked about this months ago. Said that I could watch all the ads I wanted.)

But people have been banned when hitting a certain ad too much. So I don't really know what to tell you. For myself, I watch any ad that pops up. Even if it's the same ad 10 times in a row. I've never been flagged or suspended.

Awhile back, Viggle made the comment that with the newest update, we shouldn't worry about wrongful flags or suspensions regarding (repeating) ads. So I think you are ok.

Ahh, okay. I see people posting about getting thousands after some resets and I think yikes! I certainly don't do that so in the grand scheme of things I am only one of the tiny little fish in the huge sea but I certainly would love to watch some of the 50 pointers more often when they are offered!

Thank-you!
