Views from an airplane.

I've never seen anything really cool.
I've only flown to Toronto and from there to Orlando.

Seen as it was like, 6 am, for my flights to Toronto, it was like, foggy and icky out, quite cloudy too, couldn't see much. Most of my flights to Orlando, I can't see anything until we're near the coastline, and almost to Orlando.

I'd love to fly at night. I've only ever flown at night once, and it was over my own city, so I didn't really care.. and my ears hurt like heck.

I'll never forget going to Alaska
I saw the mountains in Colorado
The snowy peaks.

Gorgeous.

Pre-9/11, my flight went close enough to DC to make out the monuments and such. It was a pretty empty flight, late at night, and our pilot got on the radio thing to tell us that when we got closer, we could all move to the port side of the plane to see it. It was pretty awesome.

And just recently coming home last weekend, flying over Boston. You could see Fenway Park all lit up. It was really neat to see that from the air as a long-time Red Sox fan.

I fly over 100,000 miles per year so I see a lot. Here are a few photos. (The last few were not taken by me)

-cinderella's castle
-spaceship earth

hopefully i'll see some cool things on my long trip to peru this spring break.

coming home from Disney in august this year, flying just above storm clouds with lightning flashing below. Scary, yet amazing

Flying into Boston was pretty darn neat. So was going over Manhattan. I just love flying in general. :)

so so much.

My dad is a pilot. Captain, 747s.

So he once flew over the hollywood sign just for me.
and he even said, this is for yo uhannah.
Nearly died of embarresnement.

Cuz I sit in 1st, Im per-etty sure people knew it was me.
Even worse.

Ive seen massive ice formations and glaciers and iceburgs.
really high nmountains, volcanos, storms, rain.
everything.

Nothing. I always sleep on the plane, or I just don't look outside because there's never anything interesting out there, just clouds or water.

i just like looking at the clouds, sunsets and sunrises are cool too

uva185: WOW!!! Those pictures are great. What do you do to fly so much?

I just really enjoy traveling so I look for good deals and I jump at any opportunity to take a trip.

I'm so jealous. Especially of Sydney. Australia is my ultimate dream trip. It looks so beautiful.

:rotfl: That kind of reminds me of my dad. One time we were at the store and these guys were playing songs and my dad had one of them play a song and announce "this song is for Laura" OMG I could have died!

When we flew to Colorado, we saw the sunrise in the morning. Our flight left about six in the morning.

Also, we're looking at going on a vacation to Vancouver next fall. I can only imagine how neat that would look!

Ill have to take some photos when we og to europe :)
I think my dad has some photos on his laptop aswell...
And Ill get him to take some pics when he flies next!
