I just spoke to a Disney reservationist on the phone ,had to make a slight change in our reservation for an April 2008 stay at the Pop Century. While I had her on the phone , I asked about not being able to pull up my reservation online. She told me that currently, only the package reservations were online, not the room only reservations. She also said that we could no longer make payments online any more. Has anyone else heard this?

Before changing my room only reservation over to a package, I could view my reservation online but not make payments online. Once I changed it over to package, I was able to start making payments online.

I just went online and pulled up my room only WDW reservation for Nov. 28-Dec.5. Aug. 24 at 6:05 pm ET. I don't know about making payments on line.

That's a BIG TIME LIE!!! I've NEVER had a package reservation as i always do room-only and i've ALWAYS been able to see it online. It's true that you CANNOT make payments for a room-only reservation online though.

If you can't see it online it's because of the phone number they have on file. I'm not referring to the one they have on file when you call CRO, but it's a different phone number that can only be updated by Guest Relations and/or is on a different system that is accessed by GR. The reason i know this is because i was unable to view my reservation online until recently. I used to be able to view it and all of a sudden i could no longer see it online. When i got a call from Guest Relations, i asked about this problem and she read back my phone number. It was off by 1 number and when i tried the number she told me, i was able to once again view my reservation online. Try using different numbers to try and access the reservation.

I booked two ROOM-ONLY reservations during the same phone call to CRO, on August 5th. They were both for the same resort, same dates. I could see 1 of the reservations online immediately; but I still CAN'T see the other reservation online! It doesn't make sense. :confused3 But I've gotten email and paper confirmations for the second reservation, so I know it's in their system. I just wish I could see it online, I like being able to check on it. :surfweb:

I am also able to view my ressie on line.
After I called for an AAA rate my reservations was instandly changed in the new prices.

I have a split stay and only ONE of the two hotels shows up online. The other one says it's "canceled." I've called several times on it, and every CRO says it's NOT canceled, and that it's just a glitch in the system. :confused3

I booked two separate reservations and i can see BOTH reservations online. Of course, i have two separate reservation numbers so that's why it may be easy for me to see mine.

For those that have booked 2 rooms, did you get two confirmation numbers or only 1?

I finally went to the website and used our old area code, even though my reservation shows the new area code. Finally it pulled up my reservation.:yay: :cheer2: It doesn't look as if I can make payments on line anymore though.:sad1:

Yes, I have 2 different reservation numbers. When I enter the info for the second reservation, it gives me an error message and tells me that I should "enter the correct confirmation number and phone number that I used when making the reservation". I AM using the correct phone number! lol

They screwed up entering the phone number for the 2nd ressie then. This is why you get the error message. It IS online, however they goofed up and now it's gonna take someone else, such as Guest Relations, who can view your ressie and provide you with the phone number that's assigned to the 2nd ressie. CRO will repeat the number you've provided them which is correct and they will NOT be able to view the incorrect number assigned to the 2nd ressie. Call GR and see if they can't help you with this. If they can't, go to disneyworld.com, login and send an online message to them. They will respond within a few days.

The first CM gave me one reservation number. When I called to add a night to the second resort, the CM got all confused, and said i HAD to have two reservation numbers, or I wouldn't be able to check into my second hotel. At that point, they did cancel and re-book me. Ever since then, my first hotel says "canceled" on the website, even though it's not.

Several CM's have concurred that there DOES need to be two ressies for a split stay, so at least that problem was averted!

I just rebooked my Xmas trip yesterday early afternoon. Since I changed to a AAA rate, I had to cancel my first room-only reservation (which I booked just a couple of weeks and it DID show up on-line and I DID get an e-mail confirmation), and make a new reservation. So far, I have not received an e-mail confirmation (always have gotten them within an hour or two) and cannot access the info on-line. After my July stay, I know that this is ESSENTIAL. Upon check-in, we were told that we owed money on our fully paid room-only reservation. We were being charged full-price for our AP rate room. If I had not had all the paperwork, we would have had to pay the difference. Since we were there 10 days, this would have been a sizable sum!

I'm sure you're right! That's the only explanation. How can I call Guest Relations, as opposed to calling CRO? I always call 407-wdisney. Is there a different number I should call? Thanks! :)

P.S. I will go and login on the web site and see if they can help me. Thanks again :)

Update!

I called and spoke with CRO and explained the situation. The CM didn't seem to think that the problem was due to an incorrect phone number, but when I asked to speak to someone in Guest Relations she politely transferred me over.

The CM at Guest Relations told me that the problem was that my log-in has my home phone number associated with it, but this reservation had my cell phone associated (I had tried both my home number AND cell number, unsuccessfully), and that's why I wasn't able to view my reservation online. She also said something odd. She said that guests were never supposed to be able to view their reservations online, unless they had booked them online. I told her that I always book my reservations over the phone and I had always been able to view them. :confused3

At any rate, she changed the phone number on this reservation to my home number, and she said maybe in a little while I'd then be able to view it online. I just checked, and YES I can finally view this reservation online. :thumbsup2

Thanks again for the info, ravendavid! :)
