I'm not sure where to ask this, so here goes. From which resorts can you view fireworks, electric water pagent, illuminations, etc? We will be staying off site, but do plan on having a couple of dinners at the resorts, and I would like to try to match up the restaurants with being able to see some of the special attractions afterward. We are not going to Epcot, so some places we could eat, and then see Illuminations, would be perfect. We will have at least one dinner at Beaches & Cream, can I see anything special from the BW? We have never been to WDW before, so we would like to experience as much as we can.

You'll be able to see some of Illuminations if you leave Beaches and Cream and head toward the YC. On the wooden walkway there are benches that will afford you a pretty nice view. Trying to watch it from the boardwalk proper will not provide as good a view. You will not be able to see anything from inside Beaches and Cream.

To view the EWP, go to any MK resort and make your way to the beach area. At the specified time, you'll see the pageant float by.

Hope that helps a bit and have a great time!

You can view Wishes, the fireworks show at MK at Ohana's in the Polynesian and The Calif. Grille at the CR. Note that you can't get a window table promised. There are loungers there too where you can watch. At the CR, there is an outside viewing platform.
The beach at the Polynesian is also a good place to watch.

You can see the EWP from the CR, Polynesian, and the GF.
