Have been to Orlando on about 5 golf trips so I'll give you my view of the courses around...........First of all Eagle Pines and Osprey are by far the best of the Disney Courses.......much more fun to play, prettier, nicer than Palm or Magnolia......I'm a nine handicap and enjoy those new courses much more........Off property there are a lot of nice courses in Orlando area, from ridiculous expensive to moderately expensive.......One I really like is called Diamondback and its about a 20/25 minute ride from D-World, my kind of course...no houses on it, well maintained and very scenic but challenging........another course in the same general area is called Southern Dunes......lots of sand, very well maintained and much more reasonable than most courses in the area............Those would be two moderate priced golf courses I would suggest.........There are some great courses closer to Disneyworld like Champion's Gate complex, Celebration Golf Club, Foxfire etc....but for the price you would pay to play them you would be better off playing Disney Courses in my opinion............any other questions let me know.........
