viewing animals at the AKL

I just read elsewhere that you that you can only see the animals from the public viewing areas at dusk. I know they have the night goggles but I thought they where present durring the day too. tia

Having stayed there twice, I can tell you that the animals are out all day long.
Having said that, however, the animals are always roaming and if it is too hot they may be hanging out off in a shady spot. It is really hit or miss as to where or what kind of animals you may see at any given time during the day. We were able to see different animals in different public areas at all different times of the day. Sometimes we saw 1 or 2 , other times many. Either way it is still a very enjoyable experience.

The animals are there all day long. But, as one of the Cast Members said "the animals that you can see are the animals that want to be seen". Maybe what you read before meant to say that there's better viewing at dusk since the day is cooling down and the animals are getting ready for the bedtime rituals.
