View of the monorail at the Poly

Does anyone know if any of the rooms have a view of the monorail from any of the studios? I finally convinced my DH to stay there (or at least do a split stay) over the Beach club and I want him to agree to go back.

From studios, your best bet is the otherwise dreaded Pago Pago parking lot view.

The parking lot side of Pago Pago has a monorail view. However it is a parking lot before it and behind it. There are longhouses that are not DVC on the other side of the resort where the monorail zooms right past the rooms, much closer to it. I'm sure much more of an experience than what many call the parking lot view at Pago Pago.

I would let it go. Seriously. It's a spectacular resort with studios where you can feel the extra width of the unit. Sometimes I feel that when we try to make it great for someone it backfires somehow.

The grounds are gorgeous. I sighed with joy every single time I walked into my lake view unit like I suddenly had memory loss and didn't know the beauty out the window. Room service is great. Transportation, so many options right there. It's all outstanding. Hopefully he just takes it all in and surprises you.
