Do all of the LVC rooms at the Poly have a view of the castle? I think this was discussed in a thread a few weeks ago but I can't find it. I also tried Tikiman's website but it is unavailable. We currently have LV rooms booked but I realy want a view of the castle. I am also trying to justify upgrading to concierge.
One more question. What kind of beverages are available in the concierge lounge? Do they have soft drinks? are they cans/bottles or is it fountain?
Thanks for the answers. This board is so wonderful for planning. :flower:

All of the LVC face the castle. They are on that side of the Hawaii building. The soft drink offerings are in cans (or they were last year). No water bottles though.

I have a lot of pictures of the view we had last month, from the Polynesian lagoon view concierge building. We were on the third (top) floor and were blown away with the awesome view of the entire lagoon. :)

The pictures are on my web site, the link is below. Just scroll down a little until you see the picture of the Polynesian, then click on that. :)

As far as I know, almost every lagoon view concierge room has a great view of the castle, but I believe that some of the first floor rooms, not many, may have bushes in front of them. Hopefully Tikiman will be along to be more specific about this.

They had cans of coke, diet coke, Sprite, Mr Pibb (just like Dr Pepper), out at the concierge lounge. They also had orange-guava juice which was out of this world :) That was in a dispenser and there were cups there so you can help yourself.

We really felt that concierge was well worth the additional cost. Can't put a price on the view we had :)

Wow your website is impressive. The pictures are beautiful. I can hardly wait until May when we go. Next time I will not start planning a year and half in advance like I did with this trip because the wait kills me and it allows me to change plans 300 times. I am sure they love me at the reservations center because I called and once again changed my reservations to LVC  I guess now I can start bugging the preplanning staff.
Thanks everybody for giving me the information I needed to make up my mind. :flower:

Room 3510 looks DIRECTLY into a palm tree - a great view for a horticulture student. You can see the Castle if you stand on the balcony and go to the far right or far left and peer around. I do not consider it a good view at all.

I will have to post the list later since it is at home but I wrote down the view situation from a week ago. Some of the bushes that were less that 2 feet are now taller than me. You would have to be standing to see the castle but it is only a few rooms around the 1506-1510 range. I will write down my notes later when I am home.

Aloha

Steve
