view differences between std jambo and kidani

IS a standard view better at jambo house or at kidani?
or are they the same parking lot views?

Standard View at Jambo House will be mostly Pool View. There are some rooms in Jambo House that have been reclassified from Savanna View to Standard View.

Standard View at Kidani Village will be mostly Pool View or Parking Lot Views. Kidani Village also had some rooms reclassified from Savanna View to Standard View.

it is only swimming pool or savannah (didn't know)

the parking lot view is value at Jambo House.

now if you are getting a 1-bedroom or larger might go with Kidani because of the larger rooms - the 2nd bathroom and the separate whirlpool and shower.

I didn't know any of the standard rooms at Jambo overlooked the savannah either until I checked in Sunday and got one. I just got home last night and haven't downloaded my pictures yet, but it was lovely. The only irony was that I was there a few months ago and at that time I used the extra points for a savannah view and ended up just down the hall from where I was this past week. Matter of fact, on Sunday as soon as I got to my room and saw the view, I double-checked the member's website to be sure I'd booked a standard studio.

The Jambo savannah rooms that were reclassified as standard look out over a "people pit" - one of those ugly fenced in areas intended for emergency evacuation of the resort guests. We've gotten standard-but-really-savannah rooms about three times and really enjoyed the view, "people pit" or not!

Actually we've stayed at Kidani 3 times now, all in a standard view 2 BD's, and these are the views we've gotten all 3 times, without making a request! Is it luck, I don't know but I've never gotten a view of the parking lot!

That's awesome! Do you remember the room number? I'm heading to AKL later in the year and have a standard room reserved. I'm hoping to get a savannah view!

We have had standard view one bedroom at Kidani a couple of times and have had the view of the parking lot/bus stop both times. Lower points and close to the bus stop, so we didn't mind.

True and other than at SSR, I've had great luck and great views without any requests at all!

All of the sudden I feel real dumb. All these years I have been telling myself that I have to do something easy to remember the room I am in and I always fail to do so. And then I read this post, looked in the mirror and said "duh! you idiot." The idea is so simple but so brilliant.
