Video Now.....Does Anyone Know What It Is??

Hi

My DS has been offered a Video Now by his friend and he wants £10.00 for it (his friend got 2 for xmas) I have never heard of it and to be honest my DS not sure either!!...its his own money so dont want him to get it until we know what it is and if its worth it esp if it need lots of accesories. I guess it will need videos!!

Any advice or clues what it is??

Some of the kids in my school got this for Christmas last year. It is a video system that takes cassetts and has a little screen they watch the videos on. Although they now can't seem to find many video now casettes to play on them. They haven't really said much about them lately though so not sure how popular they are now or how expensive they were to buy origionally.

We looked at buying one of these but decided against it because the range of tapes available is so limited, we bought a Portable DVD player instead.

To be honest I wouldn't bother.
