Missed the better video game prices over the weekend and now they're mostly back up to "normal" level. In the past have you found prices to drop again before Christmas or am I going to be stuck paying close to full price? Do I suck it up and just buy now? Thanks!

There are usually continued sales. We bought a bunch of games last year and some where even cheaper closer to Christmas than they were on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

I'd wait - you may not see $25-$27 on the new big $60 games, but you should definitely see $30-$39 between now and Christmas - the old game deals are less certain...

It's likely there will be more sales; the issue now will be the possibility that the games you want will be sold out.

I would buy now, save your receipt. If the price goes down, either get a price adjustment or return and rebuy, depending on the store policy.

If you're looking for a specific title, join slickdeals and set up an alert for the title, they'll email you.

Starting on Sunday, Best Buy will have buy 2, get 1 free for all video games. I used a similar offer at Target last holiday season. I bought 2 new release games that I wanted plus another hot new release game that I sold on Craigslist for $10 less than retail price. So for games normally costing $60 each, I paid about $35 each after selling the one game on Craigslist.
