Hello, my future husband and I will be disneymooning in December and would love to have dinner at this restaurant. My question is we have never done fine dining and i've heard so many good things about V&A, will it be worth it for us? We are aware of the price.

Exactly how many courses should we expect and do we have choices?

since we are disneymoonign in December how far in advance should I make reservations? (we will arrive Nov 30-Dec 4, going on cruise Dec 5)

Should we try for the chef's table and is there a price different btwn the chef's table and a regular tableTIA

I would definitely go to Victoria & Albert's for your honeymoon. You may want to try to make it for the last evening at the resort as it is nice way to end the time there. We did just that. You can expect about 7 courses.

We aren't the extreme fine dining type but it was really nice for us to do on our honeymoon. It will never been forgotten.

Go to All Ears for a sample menu: Victoria & Albert's

Make your reservation as soon as possible!!!

Enjoy.

My DH and I loved V&A. I think it has a cold app, hot app, soup, entree, cheese course and dessert. If you really want to appreciate the food, definitely do the wine pairing. Not only does it enhance all of the food's flavors, but your half in the bag by the entree! LOL

Have a geat time, and congratulations and many happy returns on your upcoming nuptuals! Did that sound pompous enough? :)

I love this place! We'll be going again this trip. The food is fantastic and the coffee they make at your table is really great.
Get the Wine Pairing.

In 2002, I had :

1 Australian Kobe Beef Carpaccio with Fennel and Hearts of Palm Salad
2 Seared Squab with Quince and Pear Compote, Lemon and Black Pepper Vinaigrette
3 Crayfish Bisque
4 Roasted Duck with Sweet Potato Puree and Pomegranate Jus
5 Terrine of Sorbet with Seasonal Fruits
6 Hawaiin Kona Chocolate Souffle
with the Wine Pairing

If you are on on of the Plans, the Resort will provide car transportation.

thanks you guys, this sure helps our decisions easier. we've never done fine dining and i think having our first one during our honeymoon would make it extra special :earboy2:

Thre are choices, but they are limited--two choices for a "hot" appetizer, two choices for a cold appetizer, 2 soup choices, 4 entree choices, and about 6 or so choices for dessert.
OH--also a choice between cheese or sorbet.
The Chef's table is nice too--but that meal lasts longer and costs more. Plus I don't think the chef's table is particularly romantic. I'd stick with the regular table for my first time at V&A.
