Has any one ate at Victoria and Alberts? I never went to try it. But when I go next yr i'm going to eat there.

Yes, we've eaten there. We had dinner there for our 2nd anniversary in 1997. It was wonderful!! It's not cheap but it is a very good time and worth every penny. :thumbsup2

We have and it's excellent. The food, service and atmosphere were great. Be open to trying new things. I don't like squash but I had a squash sauce and was practically licking my plate clean.

You might also want to post this on the restaurants board.

We went for our 3rd Wedding Anniversery. All I can say is Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. You have to order the Royal Wine Pairing when you go!!!

[COLOR="BlueMy brother had his wedding reception there and it was a very beautiful dinner and atmosphere. It is expensive, about $100 per person, and you do not get to choose your dinner, however if you have any dietary needs they will accommondate you with no problems. There is a dress code, which is awesome excuse to get all dolled up! My DH loved it and wants to go back again!]

I thought u got to choose what you wanted to eat and the chief cooked it for ya. I am excited about doing it though. I found out about it when i was watching the travel channel.

The thing about Vicky and Al's is that it is a Formal Restaurant. You will need a coat and tie for the gentlemen, the ladies should dress up also.

The food is quite good. I ate things I never thougth I would eat and enjoyed it.

Victoria & Albert's is expensive, but it is worth every penny. The food is wonderful, the menu changes nightly I think, and the atmosphere and service is just exquisite. I would recommend doing the wine pairings with the meal as it just enhances the tastes so much. There is a fixed price for the meal, and also special entrees with each course that you can purchase for an additional cost. I went the day before my birthday this year with my DGF and we had such a wonderful time. Our Vicky and Al were so nice (I can't for the life of me remember their real names), they even printed me up a special birthday menu since my birthday happened to be the next day (DGF mentioned my B-day to them during the course of dinner and they were able to present me with that special menu by the time the check came). A $500+ dinner is not normally in my everyday budget, but I knew this was something that we had to try and we planned for it when making our trip budget. I have never had a better dining experience anywhere else. It is truly top notch and something that everyone should experience...at least once.

You probably saw the Chef's Table on the Travel Channel. It sounds like you reserved the dining room. They're two different experiences; it's pretty difficult to get a reservation for the Chef's Table, and it does cost more.

If you've reserved the dining room, you'll be selecting from a menu.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful meal, enjoy! :)

Yeah that was it the chef's table isn't that the vict and al's? i have u have to book it in a year in envanced.

We have eaten at the Chef's table twice and it was incredible both times. The first time was even before they decorated the room, so we were literally at a table in the kitchen. Now they have a nice room next to the kitchen, as is seen on the Travel Channel show. You do not get to pick out your meal at the Chef table either. I think it is a 5 or 7 course meal. They usually bring two options for each course to the table. We had four in our group each time and they brought two oof each option and if you did not eat something you could switch. My DW does not eat anything raw and they brought out something that was raw, so I switched with her. They do the wine pairing also. Plus they gave us one of each dessert they were offering that day and let me just say even though you are full, the desserts are not to be missed. It is probably the best meal you can have at WDW, however as has been mentioned it is a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Victoria and Albert's has a regular dining room. There's also a special room off the kitchen with one table - that's called the Chef's Table. So, it is part of Victoria and Albert's, but you have to book it separately.

If you want the Chef's Table, you need to book it 180 days in advance. There's only one seating per evening, so you need to be on the phone right when the dining reservations line opens at 7AM.
