Tried to book chef's table at 180 days. I learned that GF guests get a 10 day booking priority on that ugh.

I was not familiar with Queen Victoria room. I've never eaten at restaurant and wondered if this room was worth the upgrade in price or compares to chef's table.

The 10 day window is apparently supposed to be all resort guests, not just those at the Grand Floridian, but I've had my own conflicting experience with that.

I've heard good things about the Queen Victoria Room being comparable in experience, except you'd have more of the main dining room ambiance rather than the bright kitchen.

We have eaten at V&A twice and both times have been in the Queen Victoria room. I've never done a Chef's table anywhere, so I'm not sure what that experience is, but the QV room was great.

The 180+10 rule for booking ADRs does appear to apply to V&A. I called in on Saturday, trying to book the Chef's Table for Dec. 8th, and the CM was glad to check on the remainder of my stay for me when she discovered that the Chef's Table was booked for that night.

This doesn't mean that you can call 190 days ahead of the date for an ADR/reservation if you are staying on property; you can only start booking 180 days from the beginning of your stay, but you get an additional 10 days of bookings past that date.

In any event, I got the QV Room, as well. It seems like the menu has been upgraded since last I looked at it to be more on a par with the Chef's Table.

We booked the Chef's Table for this Oct at 180+10 and are staying at Boardwalk.

Ok, I want to make sure I have this right....anybody staying on Disney property can call at 190 days out to make a reservation at Victoria and Albert's?

No. You can call for reservations 180 days from arrival date. At that time you can make reservations for your entire stay, but not more than ten days worth. If your stay is more than ten days, you can do subsequent days further along.

They said it pretty well, but I'm highlighting the parts that try to clarify what confuses a lot of people. You are not the first person to get confused about the resort guest perk. ;)
