Victoria and Alberts on Valentines Day

I am surprising my DH with dinner for our 24th wedding anniversary. Our anniversary is on Valentines Day and I was lucky enough to get a dinner reservation at Victoria and Albert's for that evening. Has anyone had dinner there on Valentines Day? I am wondering if they do anything different.... or special because of Valentines Day... not that dining there in itself isn't special.... just curious...

I'd guess they might print Happy Valentine's Day on the menu...certainly they would print Happy Anniversary if you let them know about the anniversary ahead of time. Other than that I am at a loss for what they might do that's different for Valentine's Day. For birthdays they give you a small loaf of date bread and maybe some chocolate, it's probable they will do that because of the anniversary...but Valentine's Day? What extra thing are you thinking they might do?

Honestly I have no idea... just wasn't sure if they would do anything out of the norm... which is pretty wonderful from what I hear... and I did let them know it was our anniversary when I made the reservation....

Who knows, they might do something - I can't think what. They already give out roses.

The first time I ate there was on a Valentine's Day (1995). We thought the rose they brought Judy at the end of the meal was special for the day, but we later found out it was routine.

1) Nothing special for Valentine's Day.
2) It is just another meal for V&A.
3) I think the only special meal is Christmas.

Off subject RustyScupper.... but I love the tag you have.... I have a couple of golfers in the house... this trip is actually to play golf.... since we have feet of snow up here there isn't much of a chance to play in February.. normally the snow is gone by May and they can get back out... although it has snowed on Mothers Day before... ... my boys start going crazy about February... since the last play in October.....
