Victoria and Alberts Confirmation/info in MDE

For anyone who has done the chefs table at Victoria and Alberts recently, did the reservation show up in MDE and how long did it take to get the confirmation email? I booked it this morning, but still nothing is showing up in MDE and I haven't gotten the confirmation email yet.

If this is something you have to book directly with the restaurant, it probably won't appear in MDE. You can add it as a "Note" using the MDE website.

Ah, makes sense. She did say I would get a confirmation email, which I haven't received yet, so hopefully that comes through soon! Last time we booked this was over a decade ago so I can't remember how it was done.

Thanks, did you book for the chefs table? Wasn't sure if that one would show up in MDE since you can't book it online.

Yes we did book the chefs table for 2 people at 5:30

Can I ask how did you get the reservation? We want chefs table, everything I have read states you need to call for that. Online reservations begin at 6am. WIll someone answer at 6 am? Or do we grab whatever we can at 6am online as a safety net until we call for chefs table?

You have to call V&A for the chef’s table. The number I used was (407) 939-3862.
I was 60+10 days out from the day we wanted.
That morning I did grab a dining room for a different date just in case we couldn’t get it.
I am pretty sure I called at 9 am central time which was when they opened and have to leave a voicemail with my name and phone number.

No problem! I think it took about an hour for them to call me back. Your experience might be different though.

Yup, you need to call, their line doesn't open until later, the day I called it didn't open until 10am (eastern). I had to leave a message and they called me back about an hour later and fortunately had the date we were looking for!

I wanted to grab the main dining or Queen Victoria room at 6am as a backup, but since I'm doing a split stay, the day I booked the chefs table my booking for that part of the trip technically hadn't opened yet, so I couldn't even try for those. Fortunately for the chefs table booking they didn't care about the split stay and let me book for our second hotel of the trip! It was a Saturday night so I figured it would be hard to get, but being at 60+8 it worked out.
