So my husband and I are going to WDW in Jan 2015. So we are coming up on the 180 days mark. My question, for those of you that have dined here, at the Chef's table. How did you get your reservations? Did you book online ? Did you call? Did you call right at 7 AM the direct line to Victoria and Alberts or go through the regular dining phone number? If you got the reservation online, what time did you go online to get it? Was it hard to get online? did you have to refresh / submit the page many times? Basically I am hunting for the best strategy to get this reservations for us. It will be our 5 year wedding anniversary so any info would be great!

I booked our chef's table reservation online, but I didn't book it until two weeks after our 180+10 window opened. (I got ridiculously lucky, and we're going during a slow time, so that helped.) My understanding is that dining reservations are loaded into the system at 6:00 every morning, so I would try booking online first. If that doesn't work, I would then call them directly.

If you aren't able to get the reservation immediately, they do have a waiting list.

Good luck!!!

Thanks for the info, I wonder if I should call today and try to be put on the waiting list for those days in addition to trying to get it online on the 15th?

I tried calling this morning for reservations and it sounds like they're closed today? It said to call back Friday morning at 9am.

I called today as well.. They are closed today?! Lol, I love this restaurant!! They close when they want!! :)) :) I'll call back tomorrow.

Yea I tried around 1PM my self, still closed, will try again tomorrow.

We got our Chef's Table reservations at just before 6 AM EST on the opening day of our 180+ days. It was constant refreshing until it loaded into the system, and a bunch of panic because we had checked at midnight and nothing, but we got it (also for celebrating our 5 year anniversary, congrats!).

We booked online right when they opened up. I think it was like 3am or 4am PST.
