Victoria & Alberts

yep..it is excellent. Not as romantic as the dining room..but, lots of fun!

we have dined at the chef's table twice. the chef did indeed chat w/us about our likes/dislikes. the chef probably asked what we thought of our courses. we went several years ago before the new area was finished. it is worth the $$$ and a wonderful experience. keep in mind it is a difficult reservation to get; therefore, it is a good idea to be on the phone 180 days out of your date.

It's a lot of fun. They don't accept Chef's Table reservations for Wednesdays and Fridays, as I recently tried for a Friday in December. It is important to call 180 days out, as they only seat one party per night there.

When you make your reservation, you'll give the cast member the names of every person in your party, and he/she will also note and food likes/dislikes. (The chef will also confirm this when you're seated.)

It's popular enough that we saw a couple ask the maitre d' if the Chef's Table was open the evening we booked it. If we hadn't arrived, they might have gotten it.

I've eaten there twice, and both experiences were terrific.
