We have reservations for our upcoming trip - how much time should we allot for our dinner? We're just doing the regular dining room, seven course option.

Our kiddos will be at the new Pixar Play Zone at the Contemporary and we have to pick them up by 10:30. Our reservations are at 6:45 for dinner but I'm going to keep trying to move it up.

You should be fine - it says to a lot 3 hrs and you’re on the Monorail. Even if the Monorail goes sideways getting a cab is easy.

There is no 7 course anymore. It’s 9 to 12.

Let them know when you are seated so they will pick up the pace of your meal.

We were seated at 5:30 last Saturday and left at 9:30 but we had an extra course and some indecision of wines with my mother

We've done the Queen Victoria Room a few times, and it's been about a 3.5 to 4hr affair... longer when we’ve added the optional courses. I've been told it's not much shorter in the dining room. I agree about letting them know when you're seated that you'll need to leave at a specific time.

How was it? We have ADR in October. Thanks

Just checked time stamps on my pictures going in and out. First shot outside of the GF was at 5:38 (I’m guessing our reservation was at 6). Last shot with the family with roses etc. was at 10:27. We’ve been a few times and the pace was pretty normal.

It is an amazing meal but I think I'm good not going again for a while. It isn't that we can't afford to eat there but I feel the experience is over its worth for me. My portion of the meal was $532 (meal + wine pairing + 1 extra course). For less money, both my husband and I ate at a 2 Michelin Star Restaurant last October for $450 and a 1 Michelin Star for $325 while we were in Italy. Those meals included multiple courses, wine and other extras. (Note all the pricing includes tips) We're going to France next year - I rather use those funds towards Michelin Star meals there. I'll have my review up in my trip report probably by the end of the month.

Thanks for that clarification. The menu on disneys webpage is outdated (which is no surprise)

And just making sure - I saw a post on here that was admittedly a few years old and they said something about there being a $700 minimum for dinner. IS that just for the chefs table or is it outdated info?

I will call next week and explain our situation and see if they can move us up a bit earlier.

I would call. I would say with the new menu - your meal will be at least 600 with tip prior to wine pairing. If you do wine pairings - it will be near 900 to 1000 now

Very helpful info - thank you!

Total agreement. Our experience on the OLD plan... a solid $750-$800, party of two, just with a couple of GLASSES of wine (no gripe - we just can't handle that much wine :)).

We're already booked (again) for V&A in NOV 2018. Just our approach to this stunning Restaurant - THEY will decide what is for dinner, WE will SMILE, devour it, and be GRATEFUL for both their attention, AND the Bill :). V&A is unlike ANY other "Disney Owned Restaurant" - they are dead SERIOUS about fine Dining :).

All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

You should be fine. We were there about 3 - 3 1/2 hours each time. If you let the servers know that yo need to leave by a certain time, they can adjust the timing to make that happen.
Enjoy! It is an amazing experience.
