Does anyone know what the current cost is for V & A's chef's Table? Does that include wine pairings? How far in advance can you book? Do you already have to have resort ressies to book?

The cost is $186.38 (including tax) for the dinner only. You can book at 180 days, and with my resort reservation they honored my +10 (which worked out well for me because I was looking to book on the last night of our 10 night stay.)

There is a 72 hour cancellation policy, and there was only one seating. (Ours is at 5pm)

I can't tell you much more about it, but I will know more about it when we get back in February.

Was that for the Chef's table? Did you have any trouble getting a ressie? When we tried a few years ago, they were booked many months in advance. I think at that time you could book V & A a year or more in advance (like you could with the Hoop-Dee- Do in the past).

When I tried to book CT. I called first thing and it was gone. I asked the CM if someone else had beat me. She said no, sometimes you can book before your date. So, I specifically asked about the +10 option. She hmmed and hawed, then said "let me check your dates" 2 seconds later she tells me I can only book up to that day.

I re asked about the +10 rule, but she was really waffling about it. I was annoyed by the whole conversation, that I stopped trying to reserve it.

I wondered if they do offer +10, but don't advertise it. That would allow CL guests the chance for IPO to book it without offering club guests an "unfair advantage".

I asked point blank about the +10 about Chef's Table when I tried to book it for October 18, 2009. I was told that I was not allowed the +10 advantage for Chef's Table. I was told that the Chef's Table reservation was exactly (at the time) 90 days out. So now that the ADR system reverted back to 180 days, the "rule" is exactly 180 days out.

The price per person for Chef's Table is $165 and an additional $70 if you want the wine pairings. The main dining room is $125/+$60 comparatively. The Chef's Table is a deal if you can get it.

Not sure why they booked it for me using my 90 +10? Maybe it was loaded into the computer early (my 90 days was the 21st of October - right before the big switch back to 180 days) I was so surprised and thrilled to get it that I didn't question why I got it and thought that perhaps there was an overall policy change.

I, surprisingly, didn't have any problem getting it at all. They booked it for me around 10am. (adding to my shock of actually getting it!) I've double checked my reservation online and definitely says "Chef's Table"

I too was able to book the Chef's table at 90 +10 for our upcoming trip at the end of Jan.

When I called for my Sept 09 ADR at V&A I called on the 90+10 day, got through at 7 on the dot and was offered the Chef's Table. I didn't want it, we wanted the main dining room for our first experience.

The same thing happened when I called to book our March ADR, I called at the 180+10 (as it had switched back to 180 by then) and was offered the Chef's Table when I got through at 7. Again, we wanted main dining room.

Seems that they can do the +10

V&A's is included in the Platinum Dining Plan and I believe that these guests get priority seating at the Chef's Table over the general public. I would guess that availability depends on the number of these Platinum guests.
These are the smae guests that also get a Disney Liason to tour the parks with them...must be nice!

Any guest can hire a Disney Liason to tour the parks with them.

And yes, I'm sure it is nice, but guests staying Platinum also PAY for those advantages. An 8 night stay at the Polynesian, Garden View, Mar 23rd - 31st for 3 adults is over $11,000.

Nowhere does it state that they get an advantage for the Chefs Table. Actually, nowhere does it mention the Chef's Table, simply Victoria & Albert's.
