So on my 60 day window we were lucky enough to snag a reservation for V&A dining room. It’s something my wife and I have always wanted to try. My wife doesn’t eat any red meat and can’t have anything with Salt. Now every Disney restaurant we have been to is always super accommodating with her meals and I’m sure V&A will be a step above. My question is for those who have been there before. money is not the issue my question is with a few drinks tax and gratuity were looking at about $800 for the dinner. Do. You think we would be better served going somewhere like Morimoto and having my wife do a sushi tasting which she loves. I’m torn always wanted the V&A experience but then the rational side of my brain kicks in and says I can have 2 great meals somewhere else then my emotional side says but it’s V&A it’s iconic you have to.
so for those who have done it (and especially anyone with an allergy) I’d appreciate your thoughts

I took my then 10 year old to V&A QVR and she had the palate of a 10 year old. She told me she had been waiting her whole life to go. Could that money have been better spent someplace else? Darn tooting. But she had the time of her life.
Take your wife.

I was there on July 30 with 3 other people and 2 of them had allergies and other issues and they offer a vegan option, and can accommodate milk/cheese sensitivity, and can even accommodate no seafood or no sugar. They will call you 2 week ahead and ask about allergies, etc and just inform them then. Also, the vegan option is very good.
