We'll be down in Florida for a mostly non-Disney (sob!) vacation the week after Easter. DW and I want to do something special and adults only for our anniversary. We have a PS at V&A for a Friday night. We wanted the chef's table, but they don't offer it that night. They quoted us $95 per person for the evening.

We're used to Disney fine dining. We've eaten at Jiko, CG and Artist Point. They're all terrific, but we wanted to do something different. What's included for the $95? How about wine? How does V&A compare to Jiko or for that matter, other GF restaurants? We love seafood and considered Narcoossee's.

I figure the whole tab could run upwards of $300 with drinks and gratuities. For that, we could eat at Jiko, CG, or another fine dining establishment and spend the night in a nice room, too. Or we could do a couple massage before dinner.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to make the night special, please pass them on.

V&As is a wonderful experience. You will be waited on by your own maid and butler (Victoria & Albert) where you will dine in a small dining area that is filled with the music from a harpist. It is so quiet, relaxing and romantic. Each guest is given an engraved menu with your name on it. The menu changes daily and includes your choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Alcohol is not included but they do offer an additional wine pairing that is excellent.

Make sure that your anniversary is noted on your resv, they will probably ask you if you like white or dark chocolate.

This dining experience is unlike any you have had. It is so personalized and special.

You can find a review and menu at the site below. I know that this is an old menu, and the prices have changed. But it's an idea of what you might expect to see:

We have been to V&A's several times, and loved it! My DH actually proposed to me there 7 years ago! We were down there this past October 2003, and it was excellent as usually!

Have fun! :)

V & A's is an EXPERIENCE. It's not just going to dinner.

I've been to V & A's three times with my wife on special occasions.

You will not be sorry.

AGREED. My husband and I lived in NYC until just recently, so we know all about fine restaurants. We thought V&A's was one of the best experiences AND restaurants of our lives, as well as easily being the best food at WDW.

We thought the California Grill was way overrated though.
