You can make a reservation exactly 180 days from the date you want to book the chef's table, but keep in mind that it's not offered on Saturday or Wednesday evenings (unless that's changed...anyone know for sure?).

There is no pre-payment or deposit required, but you will be required to hold the reservation with a credit card.

Good luck! We're going to the CT for the first time this May and we can't wait! :hyper:

It's 180 days out! And it better be a Saturday, 'cause I scored my ressie for September 1, 2007!

They will take your CC# to hold the ressie. They won't charge you until the night of and if you don't cancel and don't show, they will charge you $50.00 per head!

I was told that they will call you a couple of weeks before the ressie but I'll have to call them before I leave for Europe. Definately don't want to have that Cell Phone Bill to worry about!:rotfl:

Also, if there are any allergies, to give them a call and they are great about it!

Can hardly wait! I just missed out for Christmas but this will do!LOL Highly recommend the Wine Pairing too! Really enhances the experience!

Last I checked, the Chef's Table is not available on Wed. and Fri. evenings.

I just spoke to the Planning Office at BWI and the Chef's Table is not available on Sundays and Wednesday.

We are going September 23-30 and the Concierge is going to try and get the table for us one night that week.

She did take my credit card number.

Do you make this reservation through Disney Dining like you do other ressies or do you have to call V&A's? I'm assuming Disney Dining, but you know what they say about assuming...

You call the same Disney Dining number at exactly 180 days from the date you want the Chef's table.

You must be the first caller to get through at 7am EST. I started dialing at 5 minutes till 7am and kept hitting redial.

Once it rings through Disney Dining you press 1 for English and then 2 for Victoria's and Alberts.

You give the person on the line your credit card number for hold. The cancellation policy is 48 hours out. You tell him about any allergies or any dietary restrictions.

I called March 28th for a ADR for September 24th.

There is only one sitting at 6pm. They are closed on Sundays and Wednesday.

Good Luck! We watched the Travel channel Disney marathon yesterday and they showed the Chef's Table.

Yes, call Disney Dining. One of the first options is which number to press to make reservations at Victoria & Albert's.

You can call the Disney Dining number but then follow the prompts for V&A which are different than those for other restaurants. Good luck!

We were wtching the travel channel marathon too, and my dad saw the chef's table and said if we were going to eat there anyway...

Hoping for Monday, October 1st! Talk about short notice! My planning section of the brain is having a heart attack! Only 2 days to plan my new ADR strategy (I can make all of my others tomorrow!)

Congrats Disney 4 2, and thanks for the tips!

Does the Chef's Table cost more than the dining room? After seeing Travel Channel my DH is insisting on it. Also is it too much more for the wine pairing?

Thanks J

The most recent info that I have shows $165pp for the Chefs Table, plus $70pp more for wine pairings.

The dining room is $115pp plus $60pp more for wine pairings.

The wine pairing are definitely worth it!

Thanks oybolshoi,

Looks like we'll be trying for the Chef's Table in December. It'll be our almost 20th anniversary.

You might want to double check the days they are closed. We called yesterday to confirm the chef's table for Mother's Day and they are open that Sunday.

We got it for October 2nd!

Thanks for all the info, everyone!

Can you share the wine pairings or is it better to each order it? How much wine is it?

We've never shared the wine pairings but some on the DIS have reported doing so. It is a smallish serving for each course. Maybe 3oz? For me, it is a bit too much. Our last trip to V&A I solved that by giving my husband one or two of my glasses. I love doing the wine pairings as the wines complement the courses so perfectly.

irisbud, congratulations and Bon Apetit!

Thanks for the info--we're planning on sending our parents there for their anniversary and I know wine for both of them would be trouble. I agree that it would be good with each course, but I'm sure they could share the glass. Thanks for responding! :)

I'm so glad you got this day - because my husband and I got Monday, Oct 1, and I was feeling bad after reading your earlier posting!!!!!:goodvibes

I called a wrong number (CRO, I think) and got transfered and still got it at 180 days. Whew. She asked if we were celebrating anything, and I said "BEING AT DISNEY!!!!!"!
