Vicksburg MS Anyone?

All right, as long as I'm feeling well and DH is working this Saturday, I have decided I am driving to Vicksburg to see the battlefield and the monuments. I've contacted my birth mom and found out which monument some relations are listed on (Illinois) and I have driving instructions and all that.

I know I can Yelp, Urban Spoon and Trip Advisor it, but does anyone have any suggestions for restaurants in the area? Things to do besides the National Park and Cemetery?

The Coke Museum is fun to see, and there are a bunch of beautiful antebellum mansions. No matter what hotel, there will be a ton of brochures showcasing local attractions. Natchez is about an hour away - it has the Natchez Indian mound and even more antebellum homes.
