Are these shoes really that great? I don't know anyone who owns them, but they get great reviews. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting a pair for Disney, water parks and other water activities. So what do you think?

The soles are really thin on all the shoes, and they take some getting used to. They are not necessarily designed to take socks, and even then its difficult to find thick toe socks anyway.

I'm not the best person to reply, since I use them more to fix my deformed toes But they are really well made, and reasonably priced. I like them more for a purpose built sports shoe. If you are on your feet at Disney all day, I expect most people would want some cushioning both in the sole, and with some good quality socks for dealing with moisture. They are just now starting to offer slightly thicker soles for trail runners etc. and even those are thinner then on other shoes.
